About the Broker-in-Charge
Tom Palmer is the owner and broker-in-charge of Terra Vista Realty. Tom has experience selling many dozens of homes, ranging from small, urban condos to multi-million dollar lakefront homes – and just about everything in between. He has represented homebuyers and sellers in transactions in Mecklenburg, Iredell, Cabarrus, Lincoln, Union, Gaston, Catawba and Stanley Counties.
In addition to being a licensed North Carolina real estate broker, Tom is also a licensed general contractor. He has built homes in three counties near Charlotte. His construction experience gives him a unique perspective in evaluating homes.
Earlier in 2008 the crew of HGTV’s My House is Worth What? visited Charlotte and its suburbs. They chose Tom to be their featured Realtor for the area. Watch for the three episodes featuring Tom to air this summer!
Before entering the real estate industry full time in 2004, Tom had worked as the Strategic Marketing Manager of Omgeo, a financial services software firm. Tom holds a BA in Russian from Bates College and an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School.
